NASA takes pic of ‘Wolf Moon’; shares the story behind the name
- NASA shared a picture of ‘Wolf Moon’, the 13th and final full Moon of 2020 that will be visible for about three days.
- NASA said the Algonquin tribes of what is now the northern and eastern US named it ‘Wolf Moon’ as packs of wolves howled hungrily outside villages in winter.
- Another name for it is ‘Ice Moon’, NASA said.
