One Nation One Ration Card plan

The government is implementing the ambitious One Nation One Ration Card plan to ensure seamless access to Public Distribution System and delivery of food-security entitlements to all beneficiaries covered under the National Food Security.
This is being done through nation-wide portability of ration cards in association with all States and Union Territories.
In a move to reform and modernize the Public Distribution System ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ will be implemented under which any migrant beneficiary with a ration card can get his food provisions at any Fair Price store located anywhere in India.
